Biography of H.E Sayed Mohammad Hashimi- Deputy Admin Minister of Justice

Early Life

Sayed Mohammad Hashimi born in a religious and open minded family in 1961 in Afghanistan. He has completed his secondary educations in Cadets High School in 1977.

Educational Background

- Master Education in Sociology , Azad Islamic University 2013, Kabul

- Bachelor Education in Philosophy and Sociology, Kabul University-  2010, Kabul

  Deputy Admin Minister of Justice since 2011

- Capacity development for MoJ staff in bachelor, master and short term levels;

- Undertaking activities for construction of central building of MoJ, Provincial Justice Directorates and Juvenile Rehabilitation Centers;

- Some of the essays published in Adalat Magazine: Restorative Justice, Sociological Analysis of Power Transformation Models in Afghanistan Political Systems and Ensuring Social System in Afghanistan, Crimes and Punishments and its Relevance to Restorative Justice and Social Concerns in Afghanistan;

- Official Trips: Singapore for administrative corruption, Turkey for alternatives to detention, Germany for Ministry of Justice strategy, Swiss for defending the report of Afghanistan on prohibition of torture convention, Sri Lanka for coordinating justice institutions and combat against administrative corruption by means of training the staff;

- Areas of Interest: Examining and monitoring and staff performance, strengthening the power of complaining and its monitoring mechanism, capacity development of staff via academic trainings in bachelor master and Phd levels and institutionalizing ownership and commitment for work amongst executive staff.

- MoJ Director of mobilization and registration of social organizations and political parties, 2003 to 2005;

- Editor-in-chief and deputy director of mobilization and registration of social organization and political parties, 2002 to 2004.
