MoJ Board Council meeting held

The board council meeting was chaired by H.E Saranpoh Habibullah Ghalib, Minister of Justice of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The meeting was hold on Thursday dated 17/01/1391in the Ministry of Justice and was attended by H.E. Saranpoh Habibullah Ghalib, Minister of Justice, deputies for Minister of Justice and heads of the departments.
At the opening H.E. Minister of Justice talked on the review of the activities of the past year and future plans of the Ministry of Justice and stated; “ through the past year and coming of the new year it was required to hold a general meeting with heads and activists of the Ministry of Justice so that we can have at least a review on our the past performances, insufficiencies and deficiencies and Since we are at the beginning of the new year and new plans therefore, we should undertake a number of corrective actions with an absolute decision on their follow up”.
Regarding the resolution of the deficiencies His Excellency added; “Indeed, we should not rely on the activities that resulted in not sufficient achievement and start evaluating its positive aspects rather we should more focus on the weak points and insufficiencies so that we consider and remove those points in our future performances by the help of Almighty Allah.
Subsequently, on introducing the agenda by Director of Policy, Planning and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Justice the discussion focused on the following issues;

- Discussion on prioritized programs of the ministry of justice till year 2025 (for next 13 years) in order to present them in Tokyo Conference.
- Descriptions regarding the last year achievements of the departments of Ministry of Justice in accordance with the action plans of their departments for year 1390, challenges and solutions of these challenges.
- Discussion over the process of guiding the activities of departments and convening workshop on review and improvement of delivery of justice services for heads of ministry.
- Discussion on preparation of three year working plan of the departments and descriptions regarding the five year strategic plan of the ministry.

At the end, the participants of the meeting presented their views in brief about conducting measures for future improvement of the ministry, qualitative and quantitative change and evolution in the working area and drafts on providing better cooperation and coordination.
