Convening Training Workshops on Legal Awareness in Baghlan Province

The Provincial Department of Justice of the Baghlan Province in cooperation with the GIZ international organization has organized several legal awareness training workshops, from the outset of this year. Some of the organized workshops are as follow:

  • Introducing the Judicial system to the teachers of schools;
  • Explaining the law of property dealers for the of license holders of property dealing;
  • The modality of processing the legislative documents in justice institutions for the District Directors of Huqooq, District Governors and the Security Officers in 14 districts of the Baghlan province;

Also, a training workshop on combating corruption was held for the District Directors of Huqooq and other staff members of the district government. The following topics were used as the training sources in the workshop:

  1. The Law on Addressing Petitions;
  2. The Law on Procedure for Obtaining  Rights
  3. The Civil Procedures Code;
  4. The Commercial Procedures Code;
  5. The Law on Organization and Jurisdiction Courts;
  6. The Police Law;
  7. The Anti-Corruption Law;
  8. The Local Governance Law.

In the training workshop, various types of corruptions and the resultant damages from them, were specifically, explained to the participants.
