Minister of Justice Meets General Director of International Organization for Migration (IOM)

His Excellency, Dr. Abdul Basir Anwar- Minister of Justice of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Naife Riazat- Chairman of the High Commission to Combat Trafficking in Person and Migrants Smuggling, met Lawrence Hart- Director General of International Organization for Migration (IOM).

In this meeting, both sides discussed the work progress on combating human trafficking during the last three years, provincial commission to combat trafficking in person and migrants smuggling and findings of the Secretariat of High Commission to Combat Trafficking in Person, with an aim to improve combating this phenomenon, and Minister of Justice provided required and relevant guidance and instructions.

At the end, General Director of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), promised to provide more cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and stated that further support to provincial commissions is included in the future plan of this organization.
