Minister of Justice Introduces Dr. Zakia Adeli as its Deputy Minister in Social Affairs

At a ceremony held on this account in Ministry of Justice, His excellency Dr. Abdul Basir Anwar- Minister of Justice of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hameedullah Farooqi- Chancellor of Kabul University, Dr. Mujeeb Rahman Rahimi- Spokesperson to the Chief Executive of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Representative of the First Lady, Guests from Second Vice President Office, Deputy Minister of Justice- Admin and Financial Affairs, Deputy Minister of Telecommunications, Kabul University Lecturers and other friends and colleagues of Dr. Zakia Adeli were the participants. 

The Minister of Justice welcomed the guests and mentioned that the addition of Deputy Ministry Post in Social Affairs was an urgent need, and thus thanked H.E. the President of IRoA for the approval of this post. He considered the selection of Dr. Zakia Adeli to the position of Deputy Minister in Social Affairs as an appropriate decision and expressed hope that with her appointment, things related to Social Affairs in this Ministry will be administered at its best possible way. The Minister of Justice furthermore wished the Deputy Minister in Social Affairs more successes in her careers and expressed hope that assuming this post by her would lead to strengthened relations and coordination with the academic and educational institutions.

Ms. Aziza Adaltkhwah- Director General for Legal Aid of Ministry of Justice, read the official order of H.E. the President of IRoA on the appointment of Ms. Adeli, and also gave to the participants, an account of educational background of the new deputy minister.

Following that Mr. Farooqi- Chancellor of Kabul University, congratulated the appointment of Ms. Adeli as the Deputy Minister of Justice in Social Affairs and provided information on her accomplishments and capabilities in Kabul University. He also talked about the achievements of Ministry of Justice in field of legislation and expressed hope that with the appointment of Ms. Adeli, they will witness more successes in this Ministry.

All the same, Dr. Adeli thanked the Leaders of the Unity Government and the Minister of Justice for their trust and promised she will never hesitate to exert all efforts for administration of tasks in a better and effective manner.

At the end, Ms. Adeli was accompanied to her office by the Minister of Justice and other participants.

It is mention-worthy that Ms. Zakia Adeli holds a specialized PhD in political sciences and she is currently the dean of political sciences faculty at Kateb University, lecturer at Kabul University and in some private Universities. She has two books and about fifteen scientific and research articles that have been published so far.
