Ministry of Justice Holds Meeting on Finalizing Legal Aid Database

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Basir Anwar, the Minister of Justice of  Islamic Republic of Afghanistan appreciated and thanked the donor agencies who are working with the ministry of justice and emphasized on the importance of legal aid database. He asked the relevant department to include all information pertinent to legal aid into the database.

Mrs. Diana- Country Director of IDLO, thanked the Ministry of Justice for its cooperation with this organization, specifically relating to the database. She also appreciated the efforts of General Directorate of Legal Aid in compiling the database and assured their constant cooperation to the ministry. Following that, the database of legal aid system was introduced by the SAJA Program Advisor IDLO.

Also, Mrs. Aziza Adalatkhwah, the DG for Legal Aid Directorate expressed her gratitude to IDLO for its cooperation, and requested for further cooperation and coordination amongst these institutions.

Moreover, Rollhulalh Qarizada- Head of AIBA thanked and appreciated the development of the database and assured of their support.

Prof. Mohammad Ashraf  Rasouli, Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Justice, found this system much easier, time-saving and accessible to accurate data and statistics of cases that have been processed.

The representatives of different institutions were the participants of this meeting and they shared their fruitful viewpoints in this regard.
