213 number of juveniles who are serving their confinements at rehabilitation centers, are suspected, accused and convicted to crimes against internal and external security.

At this time, around 800 juveniles,at the juvenile rehabilitation centers, are suspected, accused or convicted to delinquencies. Amongst which, 82 are female and the remaining 719 delinquents are male.

Based on category of delinquencies, most of the juveniles, who have been suspected, accused or convicted to crimes against internal and external security, are being kept at Bagram DetentionCenter, Kabul Rehabilitation Center and Nangarhar Rehabilitation Center. Theft and murder, in sequence, are the other crimes,which, most of juveniles are suspected, accused or convicted to.

213 number of juvenilesaresuspected, accused or convicted to the crimes against internal and external security, 162 number to theft, 111 number to murder, and the remaining juveniles are suspected, accused or convictedto kidnapping, drug trafficking,pederasty, rape, traffic accident and other crimes.

According to the law, juveniles who have beensuspected, accused or convicted to delinquencies,shall be keptat the juvenile rehabilitation centers.
