Ministry of Justice Convenes Coordination Meeting with Donors and International Partner Agencies

This meeting was conducted by Foreign Relations Department of MoJ in Safi Landmark Hotel and Suites-Kabul, in which a number of Central and Provincial Heads of MoJ, Representatives of international donor agencies participated to coordinate and mobilize ways to better utilize international contributions and funds.

The objectives and importance of Foreign Relations Department of MoJ was underlined to participants and it was emphasized that furthermore, the international partners and donor agencies must communicate with other Departments and Units of MoJ through Foreign Relations Department of this Ministry.

Similarly, the representatives of international agencies partner with MoJ, provided information and discussed about their scopes of work, achievements and challenges in Justice Sector.

Abdul Wakeel Hanafi- In charge of World Bank Project for MoJ, talked about extension of World Bank Project and the new building of MoJ and assured that around 80 percent of construction work of MoJ new building has been completed and the rest of it will be covered within few months.

In this meeting, some of the needs, plans and programs of MoJ were shared with donors and international agencies so that these agencies make cooperation to address and implement them.
