A meeting for introduction of Public Awareness National campaign Action plan on inevitable consequences of Human trafficking and prevention of Illegal emigrations was held at the Ministry of Justice

            The High Commission for abduction and   Human Trafficking plans to conduct National campaign for public awareness on grave consequences of human trafficking and prevention of illegal emigrations. For better management of affairs relevant to campaign.  It has codified  a Plan of Action in coordination with the respective governmental and nongovernmental organizations,  and  a gathering for introduction of this Action plan and  attraction of  technical  and financial assistances  of  involved  parties and donors  was convened  in the conference room of the Ministry of Justice.

Dr.  Abdul Basir Anwar the Minister of Justice of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan who presided over the High Commission for fighting abduction and human trafficking, talked on this ominous phenomenon and said that Human trafficking is among instances that has affected human societies over the history and caused devastation of their lives particularly women and children .as a result of factors such as insecurity, Poverty and illiteracy  our poor  people are  afflicted  with various difficulties , above all have fallen victim to this phenomenon , data and reports show that  in the  area of Human  trafficking   Afghanistan  has been as a country of  origin  of  transit   and  target   and  illegal emigrations  for access to welfare has  expanded   the area of  Human  trafficking  and  caused the  a great number of  our suffered  people  be subjected to Human trafficking plots.

 The  Minister of Justice  stated  that  over the  recent years the concerned  entities and  institutions   have  taken  a number of measures among which  establishment of High commission  for fighting abduction  and Human trafficking  in the center  and provincial Commissions , reform and amendment of law on fighting  abduction  and Human  trafficking  and some other cases may  be mentioned, He added  implementation of prioritized   programs  requires technical and financial support  of donor countries and organizations,  so it is expected that the donors  comprehensively   cooperate on funding  and implementation  of planned programs  so that  we  conduct an  effective fighting,  in a mobilized and coordinated form  against this phenomenon  next year  .

  Mezhgan. Mostafawee Deputy Minister of Information and culture also   talked on the subject matter and said   that a very coherent plan aimed at establishing coordination among concerned authorities   shall be codified for public awareness department   and  for the purpose of enhancing  effectiveness of public awareness   and affairs related to Embassies and National and International organizations  working in this respect  are mobilized we have prepared the draft of this campaign   and hope  that conducting   of this campaign would . Tackle the challenges to some extent.

 In this meeting  the Action plan  of  public   awareness national  campaign   on grave consequences  of Human  trafficking  and prevention  of illegal emigrations   was shared  with donors and asked them to cooperate comprehensively   on its  funding and implementation.
