Ministry of Justice of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Appreciates Muhammad Ullah Katawazi for Winning Gold Medal in Power Lifting Competitions

In an appreciation ceremony held on Tuesday 01 January 2013 in the Ministry of Justice Mr. Mohammad Ullah Kattawazi was honored with presenting of gifts by Ministry of Justice for winning of Gold Medal in Asian Power Lifting Competitions.

In the meeting attended by Jurist Sayed Yosuf Halim Technical Deputy Minister, Sayed Hashim Administrative Deputy Minister and a number of Directors and Employees, The deputies of Ministry of Justice appreciated Mr. Katawazi and congratulated his achievement not only to him but also to the people of Afghanistan and his success has brought laurel to the people of Afghanistan. They wished him further success and happiness from Allah (All glorifications to him).

Mr. Kattawazi is a resident of Paktika province and currently works with Ministry of Justice. He has an athletic record in Body-building and Power-lifting fields for twenty-two years.

On encouragement of Farid Ahmad Sidiq, Director of Power lifting federation He has pursued power lifting as a favorite field of sport since the month of July 2012. In view of his talent and abilities that he showed, he was selected to take part in Asian Power lifting contests held on 08th December 2012 in Ghatampur India.

In these competitions thirty seven countries participated in which Mr. Kattawazi took part in seventeen contests that he has had managed to get four medals including one Gold, two Bronze and one Total  medal as winner of his country and waved the prideful flag of Afghanistan.
